Who do you think is the best striker in England? The Spanish golden boy Fernando Torres, the Togolese arsenal footballer Emmanuel Adebayor, the Cote d'Ivoire Didier Drogba, the English Wayne Rooney or the moody Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov.

The best striker in England is Emmanuel Adebayor even though he hasn't won anything but he was a runner-up in the league cup and champions league. The 2nd best is Fernando Torres he has alot of pace, he can get past defenders easily and score goals. The 3rd is Didier Drogba he is great at scoring free kicks and at the 2007-2008 season he scored over 30 goals. The 4th is Dimitar Berbatov people accuse him of being moody but he is great at football. The 5th is of course Wayne Rooney I think he's seen better years.

Who do you think is the best midfield in England? The Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard, The Portugeese Christiano Ronaldo, The Vice-captain of Chelsea Frank Lampard or the Spanish Cesc Fabregas.

I think the best Midfielder in England is Steven Gerrard the captain of Liverpool and Vice-captain for England. He played for Liverpool for 9 years and won 10 trophies with Liverpool and also won PFA young player of the year award, PFA player of the year award, European Midfielder of the year, Premier League's most valuable player(twice),UEFA most valuable player and England player of the year. He has also been awarded the MBE and was in the PFA team of the year 4 times. The 2nd is Christiana Ronaldo he won the PFA player of the year award and the PFA young player of the year award and won 4 trophies with Manchester United. The 3rd is Frank Lampard he won 7 trophies with Chelsea. The 4th is no suprise Cesc Fabregas who might win his first trophy this year.

Who do you think is the best defender in England. Rio Ferdinand, Jonathan Woodgate, John Terry or Jamie Carragher.

The best defender in England is Jamie Carragher vice captain of Liverpool, he played for Liverpool for over 10 years he won 11 cups with Liverpool he was part of the team in Liverpool's Treble season.He was in the PFA team of the year once.
I think Jonathan Woodgate us the 2nd best defender in England even though he only won 1 cup with Spurs. The 3rd is Rio Ferdinand he is a great defender he was in the PFA team of the year twice. The 4th is of course John terry captain of Chelsea and England he was in the PFA team of the year 3 times, won the PFA player of the year award in 2005 and he won 3 cups with Chelsea.

Who do you think is the best keeper in the world the Czech Republic goal keeper Petr Cech, the Spanish goal keeper Ikker Cassilas or the Italian goal keeper Gian Luigi Buffon.

I think the best keeper in the world is Petr Cech his performance in the Carling cup final was amazing except for those 2 goal he conceeded but they were goals from set pieces. The reason Chelsea rarely loses the lead is because of Cech and he was named best goal keeper in the world last year. For the 2nd best keeper in the world is Buffon and the 3rd is Cassilas.

Liverpool, Aston Villa and Everton who do you think will win the race to 4th place for a ticket to the champions league. Everton are currently in 4th place with 50 points, Liverpool in 4th place with 47 points and Aston Villa in 5th place with 47 points too.

Everton are in top form they won their last 4 games(including games in europe) and they are turning up the heat on their merseyside rivals Liverpool. Liverpool are getting better and in their last four games they won 2 games drew 1 and lost 1 but Liverpool are looking more dangerous. Aston Villa are getting there, in their last four games they won 2 games drew 1 and lost 1 and they might start to get out of the race if they lose againts Arsenal. Portsmouth and Manchester City are in 7th and 8th place they might have a chance of qualifying for the Champions league, they both have 44 points.

This month Tottenham won their first major trophy in 9 years under their new manager Juande Ramos who still holds a record of being unbeaten in cup finals. They played 5 games and they haven’t lost this month.

In the premier league they drew 1-1 against Manchester United at White Hart Lane and won 3-0 against Derby. In the UEFA CUP they progressed through the Last 16 to the quarter finals after beating Slavia Prague 2-1 at away and drew 1-1 at home. The last one was the Carling Cup final against Chelsea at the new Wembley stadium which they won 2-1. They currently are 11th place in the premier league.

This month saw liverpool winning at last. They played 5 games, 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 lost.

A 3-0 win against Sunderland in the premier league, a 2-0 win against Inter Milan who hasn't been defeated in 5 months and a 3-2 win againts Middlesbrough. They drew a goaless draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and embarrassingly got knocked out of the FA cup by Barnsley who has the worst away record in League 1. In http://soccernet.espn.go.com there is a manager rating and it says rafa is doing the worst job and roy keane is doing the 2nd best job and I think that should be the other way round, because Liverpool have been really good in February. They are currently 5th place in the premier league.

Tottenham Hotspur against Chelsea. Spurs last won a major cup since the 1999 league cup but their manager Juande Ramos has never been defeated in a final. Chelsea decided to put Ballack on bench who has never won a cup.

Spurs started perfectly but wasted really good chances. Didier Zokora tripped Drogba 20 yards out and Drogba scored a goal with Robinson badly out of position. Spurs was playing hard and they were gifted with a penalty when Bridge handed the ball twice. Berbatov was calm and he just waited for Petr to go to the left and he shot it at the other side. Spurs was the better team after 90 minutes and it had to go to extra time. Spurs earned a free kick which Jenas took to Woodgate, Cech punches the ball to Woodgates head and woodgate's first goal in 2 years, so Spurs won the Carling Cup and book a ticket to Europe.

Rafa Benitez made just one change from the side that beat Inter Milan, which was instead of starting with jamie carrangher, arbeloa was. Rafa was forced to do this because carrangher had already received 5 yellow cards.

Boro shocked Anfield as they scored a goal by Tuncay in the ninth minute. After that goal liverpool started to push forward and become more dangerous. At the 28th minute Boro did some mistakes in their defence and gave the ball to torres who got round schwarzer. At the 29th minute Torres scored another goal from 25 yards. In the 61st minute Torres completed his hat trick, which was his 2nd hat trick of the season and also his 21st goal for liverpool. Boro was still a threat, and they nearly scored a goal but it got in by Tuncay's hand. At the 83rd minute Boro scored a goal by Downing. In the 85th minute Jeremie Aliadiere was sent off after slapping Javier Mascherano. Man of the match Fernando Torres.

Liverpool has been under alot of pressure lately and losing to Barnsley on Saturday made it alot worse for liverpool and made Rafa under more pressure. Inter Milan has been undefeated for 5 months and 11 points in first place ahead of everyone in the serie A legue.

Liverpool started off really good, they created a few chances but still they couldn't score. At the 30th minute Materazzi got his 2nd yellow card of the night and got sent off. Liverpool knew they could win the game against 10 men. At the 85th minute Dirk Kuyt finally broke the dead lock, he kicked the ball which deflected off the ground and it went about ceasar. At the 90th minute Steven Gerrard scored to make it 2-0. He shot it from 20 yards and it just hit the net in the bottom corner. The man of the match was Steven Gerrard.
