Tottenham Hotspur against Chelsea. Spurs last won a major cup since the 1999 league cup but their manager Juande Ramos has never been defeated in a final. Chelsea decided to put Ballack on bench who has never won a cup.
Spurs started perfectly but wasted really good chances. Didier Zokora tripped Drogba 20 yards out and Drogba scored a goal with Robinson badly out of position. Spurs was playing hard and they were gifted with a penalty when Bridge handed the ball twice. Berbatov was calm and he just waited for Petr to go to the left and he shot it at the other side. Spurs was the better team after 90 minutes and it had to go to extra time. Spurs earned a free kick which Jenas took to Woodgate, Cech punches the ball to Woodgates head and woodgate's first goal in 2 years, so Spurs won the Carling Cup and book a ticket to Europe.
