Liverpool has been under alot of pressure lately and losing to Barnsley on Saturday made it alot worse for liverpool and made Rafa under more pressure. Inter Milan has been undefeated for 5 months and 11 points in first place ahead of everyone in the serie A legue.
Liverpool started off really good, they created a few chances but still they couldn't score. At the 30th minute Materazzi got his 2nd yellow card of the night and got sent off. Liverpool knew they could win the game against 10 men. At the 85th minute Dirk Kuyt finally broke the dead lock, he kicked the ball which deflected off the ground and it went about ceasar. At the 90th minute Steven Gerrard scored to make it 2-0. He shot it from 20 yards and it just hit the net in the bottom corner. The man of the match was Steven Gerrard.
